This is a photo I am trying to fix for my portrait project in my photography class. I'm sort of new to editing things in photoshop so if anyone has any suggestions or comments please feel free to give me your opinion.

I like what you've done with this photo, it pops more without having an overwhelming yellow hue from the light. If you're just doing basic editing of your photos, might I suggest giving Picasa from Google a try. I've been using it exclusively for a few years to edit my photos.
As far as your question regarding the quote at this post, God does want us to reach out to those people. But we need to have our priorities in order. "God doesn’t call churches to cater to the wants of people, but rather to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of people by showing them Jesus Christ."
